Bobby Dodd Institute (BDI) is a nonprofit organization committed to enabling individuals with varying abilities to reach their full potential through self-reliance and integration into the community. BDI provides comprehensive support for these individuals at every stage of their lives.
BDI serves as a beacon of hope and opportunity for families in need. The organization’s programs are designed to help individuals with disabilities discover their voice, gain independence, and achieve self-sufficiency.
The primary source of funding for BDI’s operations comes from its contractual work with both public and private sector entities. This focus on problem-solving and collaboration not only creates more job opportunities for individuals with disabilities but also supports a sustainable growth model for the organization and its mission-related services.
To fund its programs and to provide employment opportunities for people with varying abilities in inclusive workplaces, BDI runs several social enterprises. These business services encompass:
• Call center and switchboard operations.
• Mailroom management.
• Facility management supply chain and logistics solutions.
BDI is honored to continue the legacy of Bobby Dodd, the former Georgia Tech football coach who was a dedicated volunteer and fervent advocate for individuals with disabilities. BDI serves individuals with varying abilities across Georgia and operates worksites in five states.
